Massafi and Qidfa Branches to Strengthen NBF Retail Reach in Fujairah
The National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) today inaugurated its branch in Massafi and announced another branch in Qidfah to open next week. The announcement came at a ribbon cutting ceremony held at NBF's Massafi branch in the presence of H. H. Sheikh Saleh Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, NBF Chairman, Asad Ahmed, NBF General Manager, other members of the bank's Board of Director and bank officials.
The opening of the Massafi branch today and the Qidfah branch next week will bring NBF's branch network up to nine branches.
"Geographically, we are consolidating our branch network in the Fujairah area as a first step in our branch roll out plan," said H. H. Sheikh Saleh Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, NBF Chairman. "We plan to have a total of up to twelve branches across the country by end of this year."
The Massafi branch is the second to be opened this year following the branch in the Mussafah area of Abu Dhabi last month. Along with the Qidfah branch, to be opened next week, these branches will reflect NBF's new logo and brand identity which was launched in January as part of the bank's plan to penetrate the retail market.
"The new branches will bring us closer to our customers in areas where we feel there is a lot of potential for future growth," said Asad Ahmed, NBF General Manager. "We have placed a larger emphasis on customer service as part of the retail plan and NBF's rebranding was not limited to the logo and marketing collateral, but also encompassed products and services aimed at both the retail and corporate banking sectors."
The new corporate logo was revealed earlier this year at an event held at the Bank's Fujairah headquarters by H.H. Sheikh Saleh Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, NBF Chairman.
This new image is the culmination of a planned series of strategic business initiatives to revitalize the bank's solid foundation and expand on it. With a strong emphasis on partnership and mutual benefit, the logo is simple and articulate.
NBF's new corporate identity is being gradually introduced throughout the branch network to portray a powerful single identity and will include not only exterior signage but branch interiors and all marketing collateral.
